I made this painting as a reflection of the events of BLM that took place nationwide.
The space that divides the red passages is an opening. The shapes consist of reversed profiles of heads in the act of speaking. There are arrows that point to and shapes of droplets. There is a lot of activity, yet chaotic. The color degrades from dark to light as a reflection of a memory.
